Written Examinations

The ADBA 2021 Written Exam will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. The Board has secured a number of regional testing sites where candidates can safely sit for the examination.  Candidates have been notified of their specific testing location and times.

Registration for the ADBA 2021 Written Exam is now CLOSED.

Applications and payment for the 2021 written exam must be received 60 days prior to the date of examination. The 2021 examination application is due no later than February 21, 2021.  Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.  If emailing applications, please submit as one pdf document.  Do not submit as multiple pages or files.  Do not submit encrypted or password-protected files.  These will not be accepted. 

All applicants are required to sign a written exam confidentiality agreement.  This agreement will be provided to applicants on the date of the exam.

Oral Examinations

Sunday, June 5 & 6, 2021
The Oral Board Examinations will be held June 5 and 6, 2021.  The Board is working to secure a number of regional testing sites where candidates can safely sit for the examination.  Candidates will be notified of their specific exam locations, date and times.

Registration for the ADBA 2021 Oral Exam is now CLOSED. 

A maximum of 36 candidates will be examined over two days on either one morning or afternoon session. Seating for the examination will be first come, first served, based on application receipt.  The ADBA will notify candidates of the date and time of their half-day examination at least 6 weeks in advance.

Applications and payment for the 2021 oral exam must be received 120 days prior to the date of examination. The 2021 examination application is due no later than February 6, 2021.  Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.  If emailing applications, please submit as one pdf document.  Do not submit as multiple pages or files. Do not submit encrypted or password-protected files.  These will not be accepted.
