Failure to Meet Recertification Requirements - The American Dental Board of Anesthesiology

In the event that a Diplomate does not meet the recertification requirements, the Diplomate must immediately return his/her ADBA Diplomate Certificate and cease any professional or public announcement of any type that states or implies that he/she is a “Board Certified” Dentist Anesthesiologist, Diplomate of the ADBA, or any similar claim related to board certification or Diplomate status. The former Diplomate will be notified at the last known address by certified mail of this action and their responsibilities therein.

The Diplomate may appeal the decision of revocation of Board Certification within thirty (30) days of the date the notification letter was sent. All appeals submitted within this time frame will be considered by the Board no later than the next Board of Directors meeting.
